P4-7 pupils were learning about Chinese New Year with Miss Cameron. In addition to comparing and contrasting China with Scotland, pupils learned about their Zodiac sign and ended the lesson with making dragon fortune tellers.

Pupils worked in collaboration to design a Scottish Parliament building for children. They each had to follow a certain brief as to how they were to complete the task and this was used to highlight the different ways a parliament can work (dictatorship, direct democracy or representative democracy).
